Gregory Ioannides, dell'Università di Atene, illustra i criteri del database realizzato nell'ambito dell'European Network of Research and Documentation of Ancient Greek Drama Performances. Le schede dedicate agli spettacoli raccolgono e organizzano  una serie di dati relativi alla rappresentazione di un dramma antico: dalle informazioni di base come il titolo originale della produzione, il nome della compagnia, la data e il luogo della prima rappresentazione; alle informazioni relative al regista, al traduttore, al compositore e al coreografo; dalle notizie sui ruoli, le alterazioni, sui componenti del coro; alle fonti, ai documenti e altro materiale relativo alla rappresentazione, fino ai commenti generali sullo spettacolo. Una sezione dedicata della scheda di catalogazione riguarda i commenti sulle 'convenzioni estetiche': una sorta di descrizione critica della coreografia, della scenografia, della musica, a cui si connette la registrazione delle risposte di critica e pubblico. È inoltre disponibile una raccolta di documenti audio e video. Ioannides mostra una serie di grafici sull'implementazione dei dati a partire dal 2001 fino al 2007, con esempi di schede su singoli spettacoli e notizie sui partner del progetto.

English abstract

"Luminar", the annual event dedicated to the relationship between the Internet and Humanism, promoted by the Engramma cultural association, which reached its seventh edition in 2008 (Luminar 2002-2007), addressed the theme of theaters, with particular attention to archaeological recovery, architectural restitution, theatrical activity and the promotion, dissemination and cataloging of the performing arts on the web. Gregory Ioannides, of the University of Athens, illustrates the criteria of the database created within the European Network of Research and Documentation of Ancient Greek Drama Performances. The cards dedicated to the shows collect and organize a series of data relating to the representation of an ancient drama: from basic information such as the original title of the production, the name of the company, the date and place of the first performance; information relating to the director, translator, composer and choreographer; from news on roles, alterations, on the components of the choir; to sources, documents and other material relating to the performance, up to general comments on the show.
